Yikes!!! A two year old!

The Yikes is for me.
How did she become 2 so quickly!?!?
I still sit in amazement that I'm a mother at all.
Now I have a two year old.
It's the beginning of not counting her age by the months.
We didn't have a birthday blowout.
Well, maybe we did.
We blew a lot of noses.
A LOT OF NOSES!!!
Poor ole Hannah was sick again for her birthday.
We had a fabulous birthday lunch planned.
It came to a screeching halt.
So, new plans were made to have a birthday party with the pediatrician.
Because of this little sickness, I did get lots of cuddle time with her and enjoyed the heat from her little body snuggled into mine. I wish time would stand still sometimes.

The things I love about my Hannah include but not limited to:
Still humming as she eats
Wants to eat the cookies that are in our picture books
Has the cutest little swagger
When she pouts, her shoulders drop in disappointment.
She has mastered the art of moving chairs.
Her singing to Philip Philips.
The way she says my name when she thinks I'm being silly "Ma-maaaaaaa" with the last syllable dropping really low.
Her "disappearing" diaper. She always shows up with a full moon.
The way she chatters her teeth when she is saying yes that she wants something.
Her giggle when she is really tickled. Best laugh ever!
Her kisses and hugs to Sarah.
How excited she gets to see herself on facetime or videos.
The girl is over flowing with love (unless you have a beard)

I love love LOVE her and thank my Heavenly Father for ever moment I have with her.
I'm so lucky she calls me Mama!

Yum toe jam

How gross!
I know!
My grandpa Hutchison use to say that to me.
When my father was a growing up,
my grandfather cut off his toes in a lawn mower accident.
Whenever I was visiting as a kid, he would soak his feet.
These are my memories as a 3 or 4 year old.
I would creep on my belly and peer over the bowl of water.
And think, "Wow, his feet look weird"
Then he would lean over and say,
"Do you want some toe jam soup?"
He'd laugh and laugh and I would lay there frozen on the ground disgusted.

Well, I don't these little piggies have any toe jam.
Sarah seems to think it's yummy.
Is this too gross of a blog?
I'm really just trying to showcase these cute little piggies on this adorable baby!

Daddy has the best ideas

I don't know when, but at some point I went away and left the girls with Stephen. When I came home it was obvious that Hannah had fun and that I needed to vacuum under my seat cushions.
Like a true man reverting back to his boyhood, Stephen had made an awesome fort with his daughter.
Love "fort hair"

The Four month old

Life has gone by in a blink of an eye!

And this mother hates it.
I hate how fast everything has gone in this little girl's life.
I love to see her grow and develop new skills and talents.
I love to see bits of her personality come through it's just been to fast.
She has come a long way in just a few short months.
It is SO hard to believe that she was growing within me such a short time ago.
Gifts from God are what make life so special.
I have been given the best gifts with my little family.

At four months old Sarah could smile better than the rest of us.
Giggle with the best of us.
Roll over better than I could.
Withstand 30 pounds of pure Hannah love.
Sleep for hours
Friend to all.
Have complete strangers fall completely in love.
Be 100% mommy's cuddle bug.
Sarah is a social butterfly
 Goodness I love her!

Best Big Sister

So Mom has this no sweet policy before the age of one.
I think that's a bunch of phooey!
Hannah and I had a little chat about this.
I said, "Hannah, I'm embarrassed. I think I'm too skinny and I think Mom is holding me back. Next time she makes something sweet, help a sister out and slip me some."
Mom made some awesome banana chocolate chip bread this past week. I reminded Hannah of our conversation and she more than obliged.
What a great sister! She's got my back!
Yummy! Mommy will never know.

Sweet and Sassy

Happy Halloween Y'all!
Hannah went as a spicy Spanish flamenco dancer.
Sweet Sarah went as a Hershey kiss.
I die every time I see this picture. Sarah was SO cute. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good picture in her costume. By the time we got home, she was done.
However, Hannah was ready to roll. Unfortunately, our neighbors weren't. (Don't they know that if your front lights are on your suppose to home with candy?!?!) Thank goodness grandma and granddad had plenty to give!
Knock, Knock Pamaw!
Simply sassy
You know it was a good Halloween when you have chocolate dripping from your ear the next morning.

48 give or take

Hannah... geez!
That little girl will keep you on your toes.
These are just some of the events of the past 48 hours.
I come into our den to find her on top of the tv stand...
coloring the tv screen.
She had already vandalised the wall.
I am ironing in our bedroom.
Hannah takes my phone from the charger
and puts it in a cup of water.
 iphone = dead
This morning, I was working on Sarah's Halloween costume.
Hannah's in the laundry room,
scattering laundry detergent and dryer sheets.
I'm getting Hannah dressed and take off her diaper.
She has a straight pin in her diaper.
 A STRAIGHT PIN!!!!
Hannah runs off, climbs the toy chest and proceeds to pee on it.
Then as we are leaving the gym
she asks for water. The teacher gives her some
and she says "Thank you!"

She warms my heart!!!
