The Hospital

Ok, I'm going to be vain for just a minute and post a picture of me. I feel like this was the best picture of me taken of me the whole 9 months. I just don't do pregnancies well. BUT, I have to say I do labor and delivery (at least this time, knock on wood) very well. Like text book perfect, if not better.
These are 2 super excited parents!!!
Ok, so Sarah Grace is pretty awesome.
This is her story of her arrival.
Her mother and father arrived at the hospital a little after 5:00 in the morning.
I got checked in and got an iv going within the hour.
Pitocen started around 7:00. I have always wanted to "feel" contractions. Come to find out, I have had contractions everyday. Low grade ones, but contractions all the same.
I think it was around 7:30 or 8 maybe even 8:30 that I got the epidural. Definitely the hardest part of labor and delivery and postpartum. (Who would of guessed? That and the stinkin IV.)
At 9:45, my doctor came in and broke my water. Around 12:00, I was fully dilated. But they wanted me to labor down for an hour. No problem, can't feel anything anyway.
I think around 1:15 they got me ready to push. I had four sets of pushes.
Sarah Grace didn't dilly dally. She was ready for her debut.
1:39 she was placed on my stomach what a wonderful feeling!

We love you baby girl!

Born with a head full of dark hair and dark eyes.
She looks like me. She has the Hutchison nose.

Full family shot. Hannah DID NOT want to come close to me. She was very interested in the baby, just not her mother.
A proud Daddy with his girls!!!

Check out those cheeks!!!
Getting ready for her first road trip.
